The Egyptian Pendulum

My online friend Dan Wilson informed me that the "Egyptian pendulum" is largely a mystery to English-speaking dowsers, while in France (where I live) it's a rather common tool.

What makes it Egyptian, and what does it do that other pendulums don't? First of all let me show you some models, so we all know what we are talking about:

The "Ouadj Amulet"

"Pendule de Toth"

Egyptian Pendulum

As you see, the Egyptian pendulum is more or less a copy of the Egyptian amulet "Ouadj". These "Ouadj" amulets are usually found in the bandages of the Egyptian mummies, and were apparently used to protect and guide the dead in the other world.

As far as I know, between the years 1939 and 1957 the famous dowsers M.A. De Bélizal, P.A. Morel and L. Chauméry owned one of these amulets, and studied it from their point of view (see the book by M.A. De Bélizal and P.A. Morel "Physique micro vibratoire et forces invisibles"). Apparently, among other things, they discovered that this amulet was a very powerful tool, perhaps used by the Egyptian priests-magicians to perform some of their rites.

M. A. De Bélizal and P. A. Morel made some loaded wooden copies of the "Ouadj", and used them like a pendulum for their experiments.

Today there are many different models of this "Egyptian Pendulum" available (in France some are called "Pendule de Thoth"). We also have some books in French explaining how to use this tool (see the bibliography ). And in English? Well... I don't know (sorry!).

But what does the "Egyptian Pendulum" do that other pendulums don't? We can of course use it EXACTLY like any other pendulum, but we can also work with the other "powers" that apparently this interesting tool has.

For instance, it gets charged very easily with the waveforms of whatever we want: a product, a thought, a medicine, a color, etc. At that point we can use the charged pendulum to release those waveforms wherever we want, charging in that way a glass of water, a witness, a sample, our apple cake etc.

For instance, let's say that I have a light but boring cough. I take my collection of samples of herbs, and dowse the right herb to treat it. The answer is GARLIC. Well, I like it very much, but I don't live on a desert island, so I decide to treat my cough with the waveforms of the garlic.

There are different protocols to use the Egyptian pendulum. In this specific case I take some fresh garlic in my left hand, and with the right hand I spin my Egyptian pendulum clockwise on a glass of water saying "BROADCAST", until it changes its movement from clockwise to swinging straight forward. I repeat this operation two or three times. At this point I dowse how much the water is charged with the waveforms of the garlic, and I get something like a nice 98 per cent :-).

I regularly prepare and drink this water, until I get rid of my cough.

As you see, in this case the Egyptian pendulum performs somehow the job of a DECAGON. But the operation is faster (just one minute or so), and it is easier to carry in our pocket a pendulum than a decagon...

The Egyptian pendulum apparently has other properties too. For instance, it is very useful when we want to enhance the "power" of a feeble witness or sample. It's enough to order "WITNESS" and spin on it the pendulum clockwise. In very little time we will be done.

Another good point: this tool gets automatically de-charged by all the waveforms and impregnations when we finish with it. BTW, to play safe, after the use I always gently rub its tip with a magnet (I dowsed a remaining 3 per cent of impregnation in the pendulum before the use of the magnet, and a perfect zero per cent after...).

Here is my 2 cents worth, but I have the impression that this is just the tip of the iceberg... With the Egyptian pendulum we can probably do much, much more ;-). Please, make your experiments and let me know.

Have an Happy Dowsing Day !
